Maintenance & Repair

NWCS is staffed with experienced professionals consisting of journeymen mechanics, welders, and refrigeration technicians. They are trained in both conventional and cutting edge techniques to serve our customers efficiently. Our reefer technicians have factory training by all major manufacturers.

Our full service offering includes equipment maintenance and repair. As containers and chassis move into our CY, our highly trained gate inspectors inspect them for any damage. They report any damage, use a computerized EDI system and estimate the cost of repair by itemizing each component for easy review.

We repair and steam clean all types of marine containers. We pre-trip steam clean and perform factory-authorized repairs on refrigerated containers made by Thermo King, Daikin, Mitsubishi and Carrier. Our facilities can accommodate:

• 72 units in Tacoma
• 72 units in Seattle, T-115
• 24 units in Seattle, 5th Ave
• 24 units in Pasco

of on shore power for pre-trip inspection or repair.

Speciality trained surveyors are available for milk carton stock and food grade.

Chassis safety is a very high priority at NWCS. Our goal is to keep unsafe equipment off the highway.

NWCS has 24-hour mobile service trucks at all of our locations for road, railroad ramps and on-site (at your facilities) repair of containers and chassis.
